I just got back from a 2 day splurge at Foxwoods. We have always stayed at Pequot towers (which are in need of updating) but for a free stay, well worth it. There are rows and rows of slot machines. The pay outs are better than other casinos I’ve played at. You are offered feee drinks while you are gambling, however in my opinion they are absolutely horrible. Watered down and served with the cheapest booze you can imagine. You can purchase and pay for your own drink at the bar, but they are not cheap for a very small plastic cup of a kahlua sombrero it’s gonna cost you $14.00, and for a bottle of bud light it cost $9.00. You are better off bringing your own and leave it in your room. There are many restaurants and fast food places to eat, the ones I ate were ok, nothing special, prices are high. The one exception is cedars restaurant. We got the prime rib, best we’ve had. It’s a bit pricey ($55.00) but we’ll worth it. You won’t be disapointed, over all I had a very good time and will be back soon
