My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Upon entering the hotel, you can clearly see it needs a remodel (holes on roof, walls stained inside walk ways and elevators, graffiti scratches inside elevators, rugs lifting and stained etc). Service is decent from valet, I give them that. When checking in, you have to walk to the center of the hotel and they ask if you would like to skip room service for one night and receive a $10 voucher for food. We gladly agreed.
When entering our room, I noticed there was coins on the floor. When I see that, I start to think, if they leave coins lying around, do they really clean the room correctly? The sink inside the restroom had a leak. I took a bath and the water took more than 30 minutes to drain. When I took a shower, I noticed the edges of the shower had mold. There was also no complimentary water! There was coffee but no water... At night, you can hear your neighbors, clearly! That is very awkward and unpleasant. My whole stay felt like I was in an apartment complex or Motel 6. The hot water in the shower runs out quickly so you have to take quick showers.
When we checked out we realized we never received a voucher for skipping room service. When we called customer service, her response was “you should have known to let the restaurant know you had a voucher so charge it to your room.” And didn’t get anything in return. I was disappointed and continued to complain about the condition of the hotel and room. She rudely interrupted and said “if you have a complaint, I don’t handle them. You’re going to have to wait until you receive and email asking about your experience.”
I am deeply disappointed in our stay and experience with this hotel. Believe me when I say I will make sure my family and friends never stay here and I will surely never deal with this location either.
