$15 entry fee is pretty fair, especially on Australia's iconic day.
I have managed to attend the last six in succession and there's always a shiver down the spine when the anthem is played.
Sometimes you will have the odd field of four, and then the next might have twelve runners. That's what you have to expect.
Always a great place to get full vantage of the race especially if you are near the winning post. The members get the best possie but that's fsir because membership here for the six meetings held is as cheap as chips.
I cannot believe those people that propose that Hanging Rock is the place to be on Australia Day for picnic racing.
They definitely have it wrong!
