We had the pleasure of sailing on the MSC Seaside on April 7-14 from Miami. We upgraded our stateroom to the Yacht Club, and WOW ... what a wonderful cruise experience. Even though there were 5,000 passengers on board, we felt like this was a much smaller ship and the staff took care of us like we were the only ones who mattered. Mohammed, our butler, and Olena catered to our every whim keeping our stateroom clean and keeping our fridge well stocked. Gioseppie, our Maitre'D, ensured that every meal was an experience. Allessandre and Arthur, our evening waiters, brought wine, hot fresh food and good cheer every evening. They all made us feel like family. And then, there was Roy, another butler who kept the Stella, Riesling, and Sprite Zero flowing all day by the pool. Along with ONeil, we never wanted for ice, a towel, or a cold beer the entire week. The casino staff was also wonderful. The dealers, floor staff, hosts, and waiters were friendly, competent, and always attentive to our needs. Finally, the entertainment was outstanding. Gifted singers and dancers, excellent production, and wonderful costuming they were many cuts above the standard cruise ship fare. Overall, the MSC Seaside was one of the best cruise experiences we've had ... and we are at well over 20 by now. We are spoiled rotten now, I'm not sure anything less than the Yacht Club will ever be enough again.
