We hadn't been to GC Hinckley for over 8 years, and it might be another 8 before we return there. Our last visit was rewarding, fun, and profitable, the hotel and food were great. BUT, this time our food experiences were less than desirable!
The lady at the Sweet Spot coughed into my latte, didn't wear gloves to handle any food, took my money and I then had to wait while she "trained" another worker (from the bar) on how to make a drink for another customer. Finally, after much adieu about nothing, she brought my latte to me which had been sitting half made most of the time. The buffet was a disappointment. Had to run from station to station to get any food, which wasn't that good anyway.
To top things off, I had "free play" I could download. I had no clue how to get it into the machine, so went to the card club place and the guy said to ask an attendant. Well, 15 minutes later with my light on the machine, nobody showed up and I had to leave with my group. As a last effort, I tried again to download my $31 "free play" and discovered it was totally gone!!
The hotel check-in and checkout process went well. Room was great.
But, the rest of the casino was a major disappointment.
