I had booked Fred and Steve's for 20 people well in advance for my mother's 85th Birthday. On a Sunday night the restaurant was not busy yet drinks, appetizers & the meal coming out of the kitchen was particularly slow & marginally warm. Took 2 hours for the first entrees to be served! Four steaks were overdone & had to be recooked, the swordfish & salmon dry & tasteless.The waitstaff were very attentive, worked hard & the manager did his best to make things right by comping a portion of the check. Definitely a major need for experienced chefs & improvement with kitchen staff. Will never recommend this restaurant!
