It truly pains me to give this most amazing hotel such a poor review. Before I share what has caused such a negative review after being an annual visitor for over 25 years, let me tell you what is good. The hotel staff are loyal and do a wonderful job, from housekeeping to room service. And the general grounds are still quite beautiful. Unfortunately, our Spring Row Cottage is in horrid disrepair. From pealing and broken down siding, to faded and stained cushions, to a bathtub with an opening between the tile and tub big enough to stuff a hand towel in. I’ve seen the Greenbrier in both good and bad times, but I have never seen such neglect. Let me also mention that bathrobes are no longer provided In the rooms for guests, nor is there a thing in the honor bar! What is going on here at America’s Hotel?! Oh, and I do have photos of everything I’ve mentioned.
