Seriously good food!. An upscale twist on English pub food. The Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding are each the best versions that I have ever had: the Wellington was cooked to pink center perfection and the crust was both flaky and structurally sound--no disintegrating into a total mess. The toffee pudding was just sweet enough but nowhere near the candy-like mess so many other places serve.
Our waiter (Adam/"Afro") clearly knew his stuff, took GREAT pride in the food, his service, and in the restaurant's reputation---you might think Gordon Ramsay is an ass, but he is a perfectionist and a no-compromise leader, and it shows!
Also loved the Mule's Hind Leg cocktail--nice twist on a solid recipe.
