It's a historic hotel which saves it from a lower star rating. Coming in from the self park garage there aren't any signs directing you to where the elevators are to the rooms. So we ended up walking around a seemingly abandoned floor before going down to the ground level. Our room was nice. Very large and a lovely view. When we first checked in we were told that the King beds we're booked up despite having reserved one. When we told him this he "found" a room available. One of the nightstand lamp's plug didn't work. The room has two connecting rooms with one of the doors next to the bed. This wouldn't be a problem had the neighbor not held a 1 or 2am phone call and slammed his doors. The bathroom is a little small. There was a light by the switch that was VERY bright and visible from the bed. The grout also didn't appear to be finished. It was messy and unappealing. The location is ideal though. It's a short walk to the boardwalk and near a lot of casinos an restaurants.
