We arrived and checked in around 10:00 pm Saturday night (September 7, 2018) at Harrah’s Hotel in Kansas City. When we went to our room, we found a rather unsettling stain on the sofa along with some sort of sticker (not as important, but indicated that the room was not checked after the previous guests left).
When we went to the front desk to let them know about the stain, the lady we spoke with said she could send someone up to clean it. We were very surprised that a room change was not an option. Since it was so late, we decided to stay away from the sofa. However, we slept on top of the covers and left early the next morning.
At check out, I again informed a different front desk person (this time a young man). He thanked us for letting him know, but didn’t seem to be concerned about the cleanliness of the room. He did offer us a small bottle of water.
Very disappointed with Harrah’s in Kansas City and definitely do not recommend staying at Harrah’s Hotel.
