My mom loves this place and has tried to go at least once a week. She plays bingo and then moves over to the slots after the last bingo session. Staff is very friendly and always greets her with a smile.
My mother is disabled and relies on me for transportation. There are a lot of disabled parking spaces but only one that is wheelchair accessible. The area that is supposed to be open for wheelchairs almost always has security parked there which basically makes that spot just as useless as every other spot in the parking lot.
I’ve been impressed and very pleased with the staff up until the last visit. I was tired and dozed off in my car in the parking lot. I woke up to a female security guard tapping on my window and telling me I had to leave. I tried explaining that I was waiting for my mom and that I was tired. The security guard told me I could either come inside or I had to leave.
I fail to see the logic in her telling me to come inside. Clearly that wasn’t an option. I’d have been kicked out if I’d fallen asleep in the building. So my only choice was to leave.
None of the other guards have had an issue with me waiting for my mom in the parking lot, and I have been grateful for this. Especially since mom typically spends 6-8 hours there.
Enjoy an incredible, all-inclusive day at a beautiful resort!
