Market District

Take careful note that this review is specifically for the “Wok & Roll” in the Market District. There are 5 restaurants in this section, and although I keep trying to submit these places with details, for some reason Google isn’t processing it. A friend once told me - “Don’t eat casino sushi, unless you’re in Vegas.” Maybe he’s on to something there. I tried the smoked salmon roll and it left a lot to be desired. I frequently dine on sushi, and at $10 for a relatively simple roll, I was expecting more. The texture of the salmon was off-putting compared to rolls I’ve had at other sushi joints, and I can’t say it had much flavor either. On another occasion, I had the Kung Pao Chicken, which was okay in terms of flavor. The “chicken” part of the dish was quite scarce, however, and I also thought this selection was overpriced. If you’re looking for a place to blow your Greektown comps, maybe this isn’t such a horrible place to grab a quick meal. But if you’re paying cash? Nope, not worth the money. For what it’s worth, the food was wrapped well to-go, and I appreciated the fortune cookie.

Worst calzone ever! Should it be crunchy? Charred black. Wanted my order remade or refunded. The rude staff ignored me. Will probably gamble at mgm, motor city or ceasers in Windsor from now on where I can eat quality overpriced food instead of burnt dog food.

Market District

We frequent Greek town. More than once a week in fact. And every time we have ever gone to the full house grill it has taken every bit of an hour to get a sandwich. Granted they deal with alot of trashy people at night there. But there's no excuse for how slow they get the food out. I have literally watched their night crew practically sleep while making a sandwich. Very slow and awful experience... Everytime. Sadly, it's also the only place open 24 hours to eat that's around.
