I was a happy hour regular here, and occasionally brought in friends. Got there at 6:50pm tonight, with my tote bag for shopping after happy hour.
The man at the door claimed they don't allow bags. Yet, a purse - presumably defined by the gender of the customer - is somehow allowed. So they expected me, based on my gender, to leave my property in the trust of a stranger...and a morally skewed, intellectually challenged stranger, at that. The irony is that I am supposed to feel *safer.*
If the reasons are for security purposes, then what justification could there possibly be for the exception?
Good riddance.
