We survived the maiden voyage. We absolutely had a blast.Well, at least those of us that we're still standing at the end. All the bartenders and dealers were very professional.
They had a singer on the upper deck, Don. He is a dealer ,but he sings as well. And does a mighty fine job. So make sure you tip the man. Live entertainment is a huge Plus on the boat like this. Especially when everybody is keeled over seasick. We can all be entertained by something. Don keeps things rocking along.
Please do yourself a favor and everybody who's paid to be there with you. Take some sort of medicine so you won't get seasick. Preferably start taking it the night before. If you don't have sea legs don't get on a boat, for these type of cruises. It will make the biggest baddest man of them all,a quivering puddle of Jell-O from sea sickness. There is a lot of movement on the boat like this. If too many folks get sick. They will turn around and come back. And you don't want to be
"that guy or gal" that causes the boat to come back, that we all paid to be on. Even in two-and-a-half foot Seas. Everybody was sick. But if you don't get sick you're going to have a blast.
The general manager Rocky is all over the boat. Very fine fellow. Very helpful. I hope all this works out well. They have got a few bugs to work out of the system. But they're new in town. But I gotta good feeling.
