We pulled up to check in for the hotel. Other cars pulled in behind us so I moved up to make room. Apparently I infringed on the valet parking turf, nothing marked, but as soon as I got out of the car and attendant comes running over screaming that valet parking is closed. I replied that was fine as I didn't want valet parking, I just want to check-in at the hotel. As I continued towards the door, the attendant fetches his boss who then proceeds to get in my face. I told him the same thing and his only response was for me to drive to the parking garage and hike back. At this time, the other vehicles I had moved for were unloading by the front door. I pointed to them and said that's what I wanted to do. Instead of explaining that I had somehow crossed an invisible line when I pulled up, he kept pointing to the garage. I ignored him and went inside to check in, all the while with him yelling at me to give him my keys, (I thought valet was closed), and threatening to call security. I hurriedly checked in and returned to the car. The jerk attendant was no where to be seen. We parked in the garage and had to drag our luggage through the entire length of the casino to reach the hotel!
This facility is poorly laid out. Once inside, you have to navigate through the casino, up an escalator, and down a hall to reach check-in. From there it's a hike down another hall to the elevators. The hotel needs a separate entrance and parking.
