Throughout the years I've been to Reno or a hundred times. First time staying at Sands Regency and the definitely the last. To keep it short, the straw that broke the camel's back was getting back into my own room late at night when everybody was asleep. We had 2 adjacent rooms both registered under my uncle's name. In the middle of the night, when everybody was asleep, I couldn't get back to my room, because, my key was not programmed properly. I went down to register counter 2 program my key. They said that my key is expired and the only person who can get it is the person who registered in the hotel. I provided them the name of the registrant, their address, the exact time we registered and offer them to ask any security questions that they may have. To no avail. I ended up invading my uncle and aunts privacy, waking them up, going to the room to mine to get some sleep that night. A lengthy and awful experience because of a mistake they made where this simple magnetic key. And the worst part was they insisted on blaming me for having an expired key.
