Mambo Italiano

My go to local casual Italian restaurant. Great patio, good drink prices, a reliably good starters and entres. I would have given a 5 star, but service can be hit or miss depending on staffing and crowd size, but it's good 80% of the time.

Mambo Italiano

Could not believe how lazy the staff was. First, sat at a both and then asked to move after receiving water. Which is fine, but we had to pickup our own menus, silverware, and drinks. Took awhile but finally had the server come back and ask for our order, food came out in a timely manner. I've had better marinara out a can from the store, nothing had flavor or seasoning. Which still isn't bad. But then it took nearly an hour to leave between the server disappearingredients, me having to go and find her, her finishing cleaning the bar long enough to bring it, and then finally having to walk up to the bar and call her out for disappearing with my card for 10 minutes. Not interested in having my identity stolen, or ever coming back to this restaurant again. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Olive Garden next time.

Mambo Italiano

The service is terrible. I’m waiting for my salad that we ordered at same time as the pizza for husband and kids and they are now finished eating and I still haven’t gotten it. They brought us 4 glasses for 5 people, and have run out of cups with lids for kiddos. I’m trying so hard to be patient and I hope I can give them another chance, but this isn’t the first time that I’ve had terrible service here. It’s very trying when I have kids and we are trying to get in and out of here, and get home. Update: tried to give them another chance and am done now. Won’t be back. Unfortunate, maybe they will finally shut down bc of the HORRIBLE service and maybe they will move something better into this location!!!

Mambo Italiano

Reasonably priced for good food. I wasn’t a fan of the calamari. It was kind of bland. They had a martini special and the peach martini was good! We split the blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was delicious 😋 seasoned well and the penne noodles were perfect. The service was a little slow for my liking but she was still nice. Good experience!

Mambo Italiano

Went there for brunch and bottomless mimosas. They had no orange juice! No pineapple juice! They only had grapefruit juice. After the first grapefruit mimosa they started giving us less and less champagne. Not worth it. Our waitress spoke no English. The food was good but service was horrible. They were not ready for business and all employees seemed hung over or something. Called and spoke with the manager but she didn't seem to care and just made it seem like that was normal operation.

I love their curry pasta! The chicken isn't dry and is cooked perfectly. I also really love the bread they serve at the beginning. The atmosphere is romantic at night, with lit candles and live singing on Fridays!

Mambo Italiano

We started next door at Ted's, but decided to try out Mambo as Ted's was pacing service that evening. We were immediately sat at Mambo, but after a few minutes no one came to greet us at the table. It appeared that the server in our section was busy busing a table, so we tried to flag down a girl standing by the bar, doing nothing at all, to just get us water. She pointed to the server who was elbows deep in dirty dishes and said she would take care of us in a minute. I ordered an Orpheus "The Rites" IPA that was printed on their tri-fold, but was given the Orpheus Lyric Ale, canned in July of 2017 (7 months since canning date) and it was not even on their menu as an available beer. The woman who brought it to our table proclaimed that she's had difficulty working as she had a pretty big cut on her finger. She then proceeded to show us the cut, which was not covered by a band-aid. I drank the wrong beer I was given, paid and left without ordering any food. I could normally overlook the beer, but all of this together was just too much. Two stars for at least trying to sell local craft beer.
