In the past Ameristar always had an awesome staff. But now it has a completely magnificent staff now that the security supervisor back in 2016 is gone and replaced with someone who is tactful and respectful to people in a stressed situation

Good place (nicest in town) Nut the wait staff was slow and surly. When my wife let her opinion be known, the waitress told security my wife had "Made her feel threatened" and without appeal they asked her to leave. We play medium/big and travel this corridor throughout the year, but will NEVER SET FOOT in Ameristsr again. They obviously spend a lot of money to gain or keep customers, but the actions of only one can ruin a place.

I love the food and gaming, this weekend was wonderful, my fiancee and I did a little get- away for Veterans day, since we are NEVER really OFF at the same time. Let me tell you the hotel staff, beds, and cleanliness of the hotel is remarkable, and let's not forget that addictive AROMA as you enter the lobby and throughout the hotel .....We had a relaxing time. The gaming was not so bad either.. we stayed sat 11/10 till Mon 11/12... I must say I enjoyed the stay, will return next opportunity.

Seafood night at the restaurant was fabulous! I ate so much, they had to roll me out of the restaurant! The gambling was okay. I am from the West Coast and frequent Las Vegas regularly. So, I found the mix of games to be quite adequate. By far, the Craps table was the most fun. The Dealers were very friendly and knew how to keep the action moving. Will definitely hit it again.

The food is good. The gaming was fun and I actually won. Celebrated a friend's birthday. She loved it. Staff is always friendly and very professional. Their website is awesome and feedback from staff is quick and courteous. You can message and/or ask questions and the response time is very quick, if not immediate. The whole establishment is clean and safe. Very accessible for handicapped patrons as well. Restrooms are very clean. Live music available on certain days, as well. The drinks are delicious. I highly suggest this as a fun place to relax and also enjoy time with friends.

Went to eat at the buffet, the selection of food is very limited. The staff could use more customer service training. Normally your drinks are on the talk before or shortly after you sit down. Had to go find a server to get drinks. They need never came to our table to clean or offer any service

Went with a friend. As with most casinos I've been to, no cocktail waitress to be found & that was me looking for one. Custodian steered me in the direction of self serve soda/coffee station instead. Not like I had a choice other than leaving casino & entering lounge area to purchase one at which point I wouldn't be able to play/wager. What would be the point?

Had a great time with my husband visiting this casino. Not as big an establishment as we have been too, but it's because it's on a boat! Very cute. Everyone greets you with a smile. Food is excellent. I am a non smoker, so that is my main dislike with most casinos. Other than that, we had alot of fun!

Eh? Not great. Not awful. I couldn't get a cup of hot tea at this place. The cafe said they to use the self service. But there are no tea bags at any of the self service areas. You have to get tea from the cocktail waitress. Rest rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and pleasant.
