A tropical paradise. the place is very clean with beautiful gardens and wildlife. the staff and Dominican people are really friendly and fun people. looking forward to more trips on the island. i loved the abundance of fresh coconuts everywhere.

damp, and as we near the end of our holiday the damp aroma has permiatated into our clothing.

The Riu group has sold the Bachata to the Senator group who take over for an 8 month renovation programme.
A whole list of comments could be applied such as the abundance of broken sunbeds on the Bachata beach. Some in quite a dangerous condition
Regardless of the nearing disposal of this resort to Senator, it carries the Riu name, and as such has left us with a very poor impression of them as a Company
The Dom Rep is a favourite destination for us and can quite categorically state this is by far the worst we have stayed in, in 6 trips to the Dominican the latest in October 2017, to a Bahia group resort. What a difference.
How Tui could promote the Bachata as a Platinum resort beggars belief.
