Our waiter was nice, and we came during a slow time so everyone that walked past greeted us and checked on us. Our sides (Mac and cheese and jambalaya) were really good, but our main course (both burgers cooked a little different) were meh. Later found much better burgers in town. Maybe some of there other stuff would be better but nothing they had to offer at the time was something we wanted.

Fantastic. Very helpful, the only reason this is 3 stars is because they told me on the phone that they had pure Jasmine oil with 7.5% jojoba. When I got there it was the opposite but the same price ( which was high for a low level essential oil ) and it said pure on it like mimicking the pure stuff. I was being very specific. On the flip side they had an amazing selection of minerals and jewelery with a fair price and we're helpful to me in finding a low cost assortment of specific mineral stones. This I did like. Their prices were more than fair in comparison to other places, Cheers. I

Stopped in on a whim on a rainy night after a full day at the convention center. This was a great decision! The smoked/fried oysters set the tone. You must try these if you stop in. We were looking for a little New Orleans flare and were not disappointed. The seafood was perfectly grilled and served on fresh flavorful side dishes. The bourbon pecan pie topped it off. It was the very best pie I have tasted. Service was top notch as well.

Good wine selection. Absolutely the best Seafood Platter. Friendly service in an enjoyable atmosphere. Any chance we could lose the plastic straws in the water glasses? Not required and just add to plastic waste pollution.

The best drinks ever. The Grand Isle lime rickey is just delicious. Potent , tangy and thirst quenching. Food was good, but on the spicy side. Service was impeccable, Everyone was so cordial, and helpful. Just a great experience and wonderful memory of my trip to NOLA.

We stumbled across Grand Isle while wandering around. I was craving a glass of wine and this was the perfect spot. Great wine selection. A little pricey, but nothing over the top and about what you'd expect to pay at such a nice place. We come over from Pensacola several times a year and usually try new places each time. However, we will definitely be returning to Grand Isle on our next trip. Staff was nice and fun to be around and the restaurant itself was beautiful.

This place was recommended to me by a stranger in the elevator at our hotel during a visit for a business event at the Convention Center. This restaurant is a hidden gem, no joke. I could have eaten there every day with how many delicious options there were. I had the blue cheese wedge salad, bacon cheese grits and shrimp creole... this is a must stop if you are in the area or planning a trip! The location is also prime, between the convention center and FQ.

Great experience with the server and the chef. The food is outstanding as it is in most of New Orleans. Hospitality was outstanding though and that really made this place standout. The location is right next to the Riverwalk and the price is well worth the food. It's really priced fair.

As a native I dont often go to tourist spots to eat, but I am glad i stopped here for a mid afternoon shrimp poboy. I was nothing short of supurb! Great fresh french bread (you can only get this in New Orleans) and the best perfectly cooked Gulf Shrimp! Even the pickle was great. This is a fresh clean airy restaurant with plenty of tables but plenty of space. TVs on the wall of you want to watch a game. Attractive oyster bar. Obviously draft beer. In the warehouse district. Best found by walking. Definitely worth a stop and a step up in the neighborhood.

The service and food were excellent! We enjoyed raw oysters, boiled shrimp, striped bass, and lemon pie (the chef's twist on key lime pie... it was awesome).

The food is for sure five star. My crawfish Alfredo was one of the creamiest pastas I've ever had and the ir smoked fried oysters are some of the best in the city. Our server, however, was another story. Here is some advice: never roll your eyes at a customer, never be condescending to a customer's face, and never talk back to a customer. It is unfortunate that a restaurant with such spectacular food would employ someone so unfitting for this establishment.

Very good, plenty of food for the price. Recommend the fried chicken livers and pepper jelly. Beware. High priced, small desserts.

We came in for some oysters and a drink before our lunch reservations and this spot was a pleasant surprise. It was fairly quiet, and the staff were very friendly. I loved the modest literary theme they incorporated, too. The oysters were great and my drink (the Awakening) was delicious. I even got a free t-shirt out of the trip! Overall, very pleased with my first visit and will be back the next time I'm in town.

Had fairly good shrimp, sausage, and grits here. The shrimp was cooked perfectly the grits were cheesy and there was the right amount of spice to it. The second best part is you could walk right in and get a seat which is great for a friday night. Overall a good restaurant for a low-key night.

Everything we ordered was amazing! We came for the happy hour special which included 2 for 1 drinks, 75 cent oysters in the half shell and $7 peel and eat shrimp for a half pound. Additionally we ordered the Juju Shrimp, Calamari and Mac and Cheese. Absolutely nothing disappointed us! Would definitely recommend this place!!

It's good in a pinch but I wouldn't recommend it. There's just so many other places to eat in that area that taste better...I wouldn't waste a meal here.

We ate here last night. I had the ribs. They were very good, but very messy, and the fancy napkin did not seem enough to to stay clean. Sticky hands. The service was average. The bathroom had blowers instead of towels, I didn't think I was possible to get out of the bathroom with clean hands.

I had the roasted chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy. The veggies were tasty. Never heard of boudin cake (rice and porky patty), and it was bland. Hubby had the ribs. Tasty but very messy. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The lemon square pie was good. Service was timely. The kitchen was timely. Prices are high.

Went here for lunch as a group of 5. Food was good, but the service was very, very slow. It took at least 45 mins to get our food after we ordered and we ordered sandwiches, soup and salads. I was also annoyed that 20% gratuity was automatically added to the check. There was no notice of this and I don't feel like it should have been done. The restaurant was not super busy, it was lunch service and there were only 5 of us. Maybe I should have said something, but my party was needing to leave quickly to get to an engagement.
