The Lumière Casino is easily the nicest casino I've been to outside of Vegas. They have a huge floor full of tons of table games, including some that I don't often see, along with more slot machines than you can shake a big stick at. I've both won and lost in different trips to the casino but always had a fun time with friendly and personable table dealers and lots of action to see. There are also plenty of wonderful smelling restaurant options though I must say I've never stayed long enough to enjoy a meal at any of them. The Lumière is a great addition to St. Louis and we love stopping in during frequent visits to the city for Cardinals games.

My family and I wanted to have a nice evening out. We had always enjoyed the buffet in the past. This time was very disappointing to say the least. I had bragged to my cousin who was visiting how great the buffet was. There were 5 of us for dinner, we ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seated, then when we were seated they had us sit at a table meant for 4. The food was less than impressive and definitely not worth the $160 we had to pay for it. It was a $10-$15 per person buffet at best. A lot of employees just standing around when tables could have been cleared, or dishes picked up rather than stacked in piles. The spoons on the buffet were so hot that it was hard to hang onto them to while dishing up food. Unless there are major improvements we don't plan to come back.

Was here for a night. Great location to St Louis major attractions, and the room was pretty good too. No major complaints. One of the desk workers gave me a bit of attitude for no reason. "Can I help you?" Um yeah....I have luggage in my hands. I'm here to check in....? Most hotels have third staff primed for a friendly greeting. This individual, not so much. Otherwise the rest of the staff was nice.

Great place to go have a good time with your friends and close to other attractions if your in the area on vacation or visiting friends or family. Lumiere hotel and the four seasons is right next to the casino which makes it easy to stay within walking distance to the casino and very short drive to the attractions and with a price of $120 a night on weekdays is what you will spend or even more in that area or down town so break out your apps for cheaper rates. The security is very good and has a wholesome safe atmosphere.

Probably a 3 star facility but gave 4 stars due to the location and the ease of getting there. The parking is very easy as well. The casino is just okay by todays standards. There are 2 hotels, one that is very upscale and the other is an old embassy suites. I have only stayed in the older one but I do like the setup and the rooms are above average.

The lobby was beautiful and the room was clean and well kept. Some parts of the hotel looked run down and my key card kept getting demagnetized but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. As for the Casino it was a typical casino. Had a mix of young and old patrons. We were there to celebrate a bachelorette party and we had a good time.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed two nights here. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a cigarette odor in our non-smoking room but it seemed to dissipate when we turned the ac on. The bed was amazing. My only complaint is the staff. I have never received such poor customer service in all my life. There was no friendly greeting. No smiling faces. From check-in to the casino to the burger bar. I've never experienced such rudeness and unhelpfulness. There was one security guard at the casino that was polite and helpful. I really expected to have a better experience. I was starting to think that maybe people were just unfriendly in St. Louis. Apparently it was just here. We spent the next day at the Hollywood casino and it restored my faith in humanity. We won't be staying at Lumiere when we return in June. That bed though....

Our son and I ate at Ozzie's Burger Bar, amazing food! Onion rings are out of this world! It's not fast like Wendy's because this food is top notch! We couldn't gamble as my 35 year old son didn't have his ID on him! But that's cool rules are rules! The reason for only 4 stars is the order that greeted us as we came in...I'm hoping it was a one time deal as it was REALLY bad!

The Restaurant is okay, but they have the same thing on the buffet almost every time we go. I like the Hotel rooms very nice, my Husband and I usually go for our Anniversary. Some time's we may eat at Ozzy's Bar and Grill, they have good Burgers and Chicken Wings. I haven't tried the Chinese Restaurant yet, but I Heard it was good too.

I travel a lot for work and other things so I am use to staying at nice hotels across the country and this experience was the worst. I had made reservations with this hotel a week before my stay. I arrived and the lady at the front desk was rude right off the bat. After handing her my ID and Payment Card I was told they would not accept my card. I inquired as to why and was not given a good answer. She requested another card. I was not willing to do that so I asked if I could then just pay cash. That option was refused. The girl whipped her hair around and said "You can't stay here with out good credit" whatever that was suppose to mean. I left the hotel without a scene and went down the street to the Hilton which ended up being a much nicer hotel for my money and was treated much better with a much more professional staff. I think the front desk judged me on my young appearance as I have used the same card to stay at much nicer hotels such as the Ritz and Four Seasons. The hotel looked pretty empty so it was their loss.

Our hotel stay was fine. The casino side however, left a lot to be desired. Smoking is allowed in the casino, and the smell was so bad we had to leave because one of us for a migraine because of it. The restaurants smelled really bad also. In the morning, we are turned away from a 24 hr. Restaurant because they said they had no servers. We them tried the buffet, where they wanted to charge us the price for Sunday brunch even though there was still over an hour left for breakfast. We will most likely not be doing that again.

No stars, no recommendations. This was our first experience with this casino and I can say 100% that I will never go back. I went to cash in my big winnings and the machine shorted me about $150.00! So, thinking someone would be able to help, we tried getting it figured out. They made their mind up in the beginning that they were going to do NOTHING for me. At the beginning they claimed that I didn't cash all my tickets at the same time, then they went to say I did cash the five tickets I had, but the $147.78 one wasn't one of them, but I had taken a picture of my tickets with that one being included. I showed them this and all they did was try convincing me that I dropped it and lost it. so when I tried bringing up the fact that it somehow got replaced with 2 more, they were quick to look for yet another reason to cover there steps of covering THEIR mistake up. They THEN told me that they were stolen from me and replaced, but when I asked at what point did this happen without me knowing, they couldn't explain to me when I came in contact with another person. So as a result of all of this, they told me that I went to the bathroom and they believe it happened in there. Well I know there was only a lady (with a walker) and I in their washing our hands. Mind you we weren't close to eachother or did we exchange any verbal communication, but apparently that is where it happened, because THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE THEY CANT FOLLOW THEIR SURVEILLANCE . The story never added up. They tell me what happen and I question them on what they told me prior that wouldn't make any sense. So then they change their story. They told me 4 different explainations to how I didn't have my money, ALL OF WHICH WERE DIFFERENT AND IN NO WAY RELATED TO ONE ANOTHER. A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS AND THIEFS WHO DID A "MALL COP" STYLE OF INVESTIGATION will never have my business again. Although $150.00 may not be much to some, it is others, especially those who are trying to enjoy a vacation: one of which was ruined by the unprofessionalism this establishment so easily showed.

Old carpet, smokey smell in a nonsmoking room, 7th floor with an AC that hardly worked. One of the two TVs HDMI outputs worked. You have to pay 10 bucks for parking and there is no valet and that's when you check in. Good luck finding a spot if you're driving on your own to park and go check in. This is the hotel across the street from Lumiere not the Four Seasons that is attached. I guess if you're going to gamble its a good place to crash to not have to drink and drive but I wouldn't pay full price for these rooms if I wasn't gambling. You can do a lot better somewhere around the corner downtown. Also if you're bringing your own drinks I suggest filling the sink with ice as the refrigerator the mini fridge is filled with drinks you'd have to pay for that you can't move or you'll be charged.

My husband and I played in the poker room last night for the 7pm tournament. We enjoyed seeing Daryll, Amy, Dean, and Brandi as they dealt the tournament. We then continued our play out at the Ultimate Texas Hold Em table where Michael took care of us. The overall experience was a good time for my husband's 32nd birthday!
