Prime rib wasn't juice kind of dry . Crab and shrimp could have been fresher to long under the heat lamp.

Compare to years ago, they have lesser and lesser choice (no more crab legs) but price is stay high. No straw provide for soft drinks. Service inside is okay, but cashier at diamond service register is not. Food quality not stable, salad bar (cucumber & tomato) sometimes fresh sometimes not, and the dessert (creme brûlée) sometimes with melted sugar on top even it still taste good. I give 2 stars because their omelet and crapes are still good (fresh made to order).

I would rate this place zero but they make you use at least one star here to post a review. They didn't answer their phone for 30 minutes when I tried to order room service from the hotel and when I showed up they couldn' t even tell me what was on their combo pizza. Awful customer service!

I came here for brunch. I thought may be with the price increasing, the quality of the dishes may have increased as well. Sadly this was not the case. Years ago this place was much better at cooking their meals to perfection. It has always been a "budget" location but they made good food back in the day. The wait staff were a little behind when the doors opened but were really good about keeping up after that. My once in a lifetime experience was so memorable, I stopped eating to tell you about it dear reader: My Apple juice was so bad I had to fight to swallow. Their gluten free roasted vegetables were so cold that I was left wondering if they weren't made yesterday, frozen when not finished, and put back under the lamp to heat for the next business day. The sushi is an insult to real sushi. It tasted like plastic, the egg rolls were done properly only on the inside. The outside was overcooked and took way too much effort to pull it apart. The mushrooms on the eggs Benedict tasted like bad leather. The only thing I enjoyed was the New York Steak, coffee, and sprite.

This is the best buffet hands down that I have ever been too. I moved to Reno a year ago and the biggest regret of my life is not knowing about this buffet sooner especially since I'm a local and get a half off price. They serve prime rib all day every day, everything is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this buffet to everyone visiting reno.

Carvings Buffet is absolutely awesome. The best way to is Kalle. He very friendly and engages with his customers that are in his section at the Buffet. I highly recommend carvings Buffet. Next time you visit carvings asked if you could be seated in Kalle's section. I guarantee you you will not be disappointed. Visited for the brunch buffet. As the buffet opens at 10 I was more in the mood for lunch like items. The selection for breakfast was of the typical waffles, eggs, ham, bacon etc. There is a make your own omelet station as well. The lunch selection was varied. I enjoyed the flavorful Asian food selection. The teriyaki chicken had a little kick of spice. They have a make your own noodle bowl. Generally the quality and flavor of the food was higher than expected. The sweets were rich and flavorful. The soft brownies melted in the mouth.

The food here is pretty good. The prime rib is excellent. It seems the cooks don't care much about keeping there stations appealing looking. One of the good things here is the crepes station. They make fresh crepes while you watch. Locals and seniors get the buffet for half price.

This is a decent buffet with the best locals deal I've found. I love that they are loyal to locals and I take my family there often. My kids love the crepe station.

Loved the food, prices and service. We eat there all the time. Get your locals players card buy one get one "FREE" Can't beat it!!

The food here is pretty good staff is some what friendly the price here is great especially if you are a local the only thing not good here if that the menu here is always the same.

It is my favorite Buffet for the price, the food is flavorable, and a good selections of different foods and deserts, they have great tea...my wife and I eat there on our locals card whenever we can and have never been disappointed... You want a fair price and really good food, this is my pick....and I've been to all the buffets with my wife and this is our pick...

The place is OK it is what you would expect from a buffet, not great, not terrible. Locals get 50% off which is nice

Half off for locals is always great deal. The service is great if you have the female servers. If you have male server be prepared to be ignored and they will let plates pile up on you.

I highly recommend Cravings Buffet which is located just inside of the four star hotel Harrah's Hotel And Casino Reno where they have an impressive miscellany of different foods that consists of brunch,lunch ,and dinner depending on the time of day that is sure to give you an inimitable gustatory experience. I must say that the gorgeous and friendly Asian lady Noi is one of the best servers here and I highly enjoyed the refreshingly delicious pink lemonade that she served me with my sumptuous meal . Next time I would love to tip her for her hard work .

I seriously thought this place was one of the worst places I've been to. Im 13 and I'm able to realize that this place was not good at all. The food quality was not enjoyable. The service was terrible and nobody came by once to ask us how we were doing. We spent a lot of money to eat here and the price didn't at all mach the quality of the food. The quality and the flavor was not worth the $30 spent on each person.

We ate here for Sunday champagne brunch. The food was delicious, prime rib was tender and flavorful and I was able to get it medium rare like I like it! The service was phenomenal, all the staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful! I fully recommend this dining establishment!

Horrible customer experience. The manager there, MIKE, treated our family like worthless individuals. Very very rude and unprofessional and specifically said since we are locals he doesn't have to offer us the same service since we get a local discount. I was floored by the visit here and would never recommend anyone here.

4 stars as far as buffets go, I try not to judge buffets against proper restaurants. Good variety of food and was all pretty fresh. Had a 2 for 1 coupon so the two us ate for under $20. Pretty amazing desserts.

This was my first time to the buffet and I thought it was very good. Went Thursday night for dinner 10.99 for adults kids couple bucks cheaper. Then went for lunch on Friday was very pleased for lunch also. Lunch was $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for children.

Went there for sunday night buffet. The food is not that good. The sushi looked awful and the chinese food didn't look much better. The stand out was the prime rib but for the price of the buffet, $22, it is not worth good prime rib. The dessert was very good and the ice cream, vanilla and chocolate was delicious with nice toppings. I wouldn't spend good money here, too high priced for the quality of food.
