I have neither praise nor complaint for this hotel. The room was clean enough. The beds were comfortable. The place provided no coffee machine, which was okay with me. The place provided and mini fridge. The bathroom was very simple. I stayed in a non smoking room which I thought did not smell of smoke until I got home and my pajamas had a light scent of smoke. My pajamas were only used in the room, so regardless of the non smoking fact the air units must not filter very well into the rooms. We stayed at this hotel because it connected to the monorail, which I highly recommend using. The staff were kind and funny and greeted us well every day we stayed there.

West-gate, what can I say, it must have been fate. I had happen to arrive on the day of the Superbowl and the hotel was throwing a big party, which wasn't a bad thing. The hotels atmosphere was very electric and welcoming. People can be seen gambling and having a good time all throughout the day and night. There's never a dull moment in Vegas and especially at Westgate which relatively an affordable hotel. The service was prompt and good, but it could've been better. One nice thing about this hotel is that it's just a couple minutes from the strip. The reason I'm giving it a 4 star review is because my room had very minimal lighting. The only thing to illuminate the room was two lamps on the night stands by the bed. Other than that it was a good stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

My boyfriend and I always stay at the West gate! We always have a great experience definitely recommend staying here. It's a little far from the strip but not too bad! Jimmy, our bell hop, was so caring and accommodating! Wished us a safe trip and was the cherry on top before we went back home! Thanks jimmy and west gate ❤ we'll be back soon!

I reserved a room under the assumption it would have 2 beds, and accommodate 4 like their website says. When I went to check in I had to wait in a 30 minute line because they were busy. When I got to my room I was surprised to find there was 1 bed and it could not accommodate 4. I went back to the check-in area to get this resolved and was told they were out of 2 bed rooms, and that it wasn't a guarantee you would get one. The lady did offer to send up a roll away bed. After 2 hours (it's 1:30am) there was no roll away bed. So I went back down to check in to ask if I could just book another room. They told me they were out of all rooms, but that they would still send up a roll away bed. Long story short, we never got the roll away bed. Had to use some of the very dirty couch cushions and sleep on the ground. Our room itself was nothing special, not super clean and smelled like smoke (it was a non smoking room). When I checked out I mentioned all of this, and the worker waived the resort fee, but due to the fact that I didn't use a single item that covered because I was too busy with the bed situation, it didn't feel like much of a resolution. This will be my first and last time staying at the Westgate.

This is wonderful place, for the 1st timer, all the staff was so very nice. We saw 2 shows, took a ride on the monorail, to the strip. If get tried off the in house food, there are a lot of places that will bring food to west gate. Can't wait to go back. The rooms are very nice. Your won't be disappointed at west gate!

This is the hotel where Elvis lived some of the final days of his life. The rooms have been updated recently and they're very comfortable. The staff is generally very helpful, but some of their motives are off. I stopped at the guest services desk only to be pushed for a timeshare rather than being helped on the question I needed help with. The room itself is very comfortable large with just about everything you'd want including a refrigerator. But what it didn't have was drinking glasses of any kind. I found that kind of odd. The restaurants are pretty good easy to get to on the staff at the restaurant is very nice. The hotel has a monorail stop directly in front of it making it really easy to get to the strip and through the link to the bus routes to downtown.

The service here was fantastic and the staff were really nice. The pool was a lot of fun there's a lot of energy and it was very clean. Their fitness center was very diverse and have everything that you need to do a good workout routine before putting all those calories back on with all the good desserts they had in their Lobby haha. I would have given it five Stars if there was actually a good place to get breakfast inside the building. I was heavily disappointed to find that their breakfast area was all pastries and finger foods. Nothing to really fill you up for a long day.

Went inside to get a free players card which allowed me access to the spa the gym the pools Etc. It was a limited-time offer through the end of June. They even gave me a free pull on a slot machine which I haven't done in quite some time so I played a little and won $5. I met an old friend down there and have some great conversation and enjoyed pulling a few Handles in a peaceful atmosphere. Big Casino concierge desk was very friendly everyone at the booth great employees. The parking covered nearby was easy accessible and a little bit of a walk from the car but not bad as a shops and kiosk along the way we're kind of fun to view and enjoyed their eye candy.

Nice place! Seen many people complain about the buffet food quality but i can assure you its good stuff. The line is a bit long so be prepared to stand but that can be expected with a resort. Room was nice and clean and stayed cool during my stay. Only issue i had was housekeeping came in and cleaned my room even though i had the do not disturb sign on my door and called them to cancel all services when i arrived. Other than that the place is nothing short of awesome!

This is an older property. However, it is still nice and at a great price. The casino is not to big but has a little bit of everything. $10 black jack tables, poker, roulette, slots and even penny slots. The Sports book is really nice with all the big screens. Having the Monorail just outside the front lobby was great for getting around during our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Don't be discouraged because it is not "on" the strip. You can take the monorail all the way to the MGM and your on the strip within minutes. Oh, and I almost forgot, there is a wedding chapel on site. Also, the breakfast buffet is AWESOME!!! Don't believe all the bad reviews. I had mountains of bacon for breakfast!!!

Nothing particularly exceptional about the facility. It could use a few updates with respect to the decor and design. The staff is generally decent. Anyone else find it interesting that Westgate Staff only responds to favorable/neutral reviews??????? As a customer service manager, that's quite suspicious. I'd want to know more about the various negative experiences, to understand what should be continued and what might require review and potential changes.

Not a bad hotel. It's close to the convention center which was very convenient. The rooms are fairly large. Nothing inherently wrong with the accommodations. The general decor is about 10 years out of date. I would only recommend staying here if you are going to a convention. There are much better hotels if you are here for a vacation.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into when driving up to the casino/hotel. I knew it was a facility with long standing tradition going back to the golden days of Vegas but with the large black and yellow block lettering signage it almost ruined my appetite before I could even enjoy the atmosphere. Once I was inside, the hotel is clearly kept up. Clean public areas, plenty of food options, beautiful crystal chandeliers adorn the lobby and casino floor. Dealers are personable and special shout out to Little Debbie the BOSS!!! It’s a little taste of the way vegas used to be, hospitality business ;)

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, nice casino & a pretty good buffet. My stay included one breakfast or brunch each for every day we were there for my wife & I. Didn't see any shows while we were there, but they had some good ones it looked like. Easy to get to the strip via the Monorail, which stops right out front. I would advise planning ahead and purchasing a pass for it if you are going to be making a few trips to the strip. Only downside that I really noticed with the hotel is that you can be waiting a while for elevators, and most times they are packed when they do come. I would definitely stay here again though.

I really do love this resort! I got the view!! The resort is in the middle of all the excitement. It's best to park in self parking and enter through "Audrie St." The hotel guest know exactly where everything is. Room service is a must try, you can rent a DVD with your room key for free. At least they didn't charge me for renting a blue ray. All around this is my resort to come to. Pool area is a distance to walk but does have a unique style to it w/ a bar and free margaritas. Unless I'm an all around guy they loved me and kept hooking me up? Definitely will come back. Thanks again

Really loved this place, would definitely go back there. Access to Monorail 🚝 very good and affordable, making your trip easy to the strip and other casinos, parking was free as well. In other casinos you have to pay. Service when playing the machines by hostess/ waitresses was ok, not the greatest could have been better. The rooms were very clean, housekeeping was very friendly, beds were awesome, didn’t use the pools because I went there on winter season and they were closed the only thing I didn’t like was I was not told I had free breakfast till the last day at reception when I went to pay my checkout and I spent a whole week there 🤨

Didn't care to much for all the smoke, wish there was a non smoking area. Also the look closed at 7pm, wish it would stay open until about 9 or 10pm when it's a little cooler. The beds in our room was full size and in order to upgrade it would have been an extra $100 per night and this price was for an owner of Westgate. Went on a tour and was told it would be 90min and it ended up being 4hours. We felt like we were being pressured. There were some good things about our stay like the gym was great, the complimentary breakfast, wine & cheese and snack hours and I liked that they checked for people going to their room after hours.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! First off we had to change rooms in the middle of our stay due to construction on the floor above our room. Which wouldn't be a big deal but we were woken up at 7 am! Once we moved to our new room we noticed a few small things that made me wonder if our previous room had even been cleaned. The buffet is edible but nothing in comparison to other buffets in Vegas. With their selection of food it seems very overpriced. Every single time we tried to head back to our room we were approached by staff wanting to give us our "welcoming gift" which was code for you pay us $20 and we'll try to sell you on our timeshare. When you decline they push even more. It wasn't clean very outdated and had a very odd smell. With all the selections in Vegas I would avoid this hotel

The closeness and convenience of having the convention center right next store is why we stayed here. While the rooms vary in style and age of updating, the staff here is very wonderful. The music at the bar is usually pretty good, however there was one night where it was not so great. The selection of restaurants in the hotel is good as well and makes it easy to get from one place to the other without too much of a hassle. It was extremely busy when we went this last time, but the staff, including the bartenders, were all great!

Nice hotel and casino. I really enjoyed the room and the seasonal holiday decorations. The casino was nice, not too smokey like some of the others. The Hotel buffet was priced way too high but you get unlimited mimosas. There are other pretty good food option on site, and nice shops. It's not along the strip but the Monorail is close by and takes you pretty much anywhere. The staff could be more polite, but the "timeshare people" aren't super pushy. If you say no, they back off. I would stay there again.

This place is designed to cater to the crowd attending the convention center. That said... they have made some improvements over the past few years but still behind in quality you can find at other major hotels. The monorail does stop here which connects to the strip. Very quick and cost effective. The hotel is improving in shopping, nightlife and dining but this is a convention hotel.

I had a wonderful time at Westgate... This place has everything! The pool was great, the restaurants, the staff, the amenities... all top notch. There was no reason to leave the resort and Mary, the VIP host, was an absolute pleasure! I'll be sure to recommend a stay with her and the rest of the staff to all of my friends and family... I'd award 6 stars if I could! Can't wait to come back.

I recently had my wedding there and had a difficult time organizing accommodation. I went a few days early and was so happy when a wonderful lady at the reception took interest in helping me organize all my people. I can't thank you enough for all your help REA . The Westgate is sure lucky to have such a caring person looking after their guests! You helped make my wedding GREAT!

Resort Fees: $28/ day Spa under renovation and pool was closed. So why am I paying for these fees?? Room Cleaning: These people obviously don't clean the hotel rooms. The bathtub was clogged with hair. Then the next few days the cleaning lady never took out the trash, never replaced the toilet paper, never gave shampoo and conditioner, and even better never knocked on the door and came in saying that it was past check out time. Ummmm?? We booked for three days not two days. Share time Agents: These annoying people are always in the lobby trying give you "free" show tickets and ask you to sit in a 5 hour presentation. I walked down with my father and the agent thought we were a couple. My mother was right next to us. Not funny. Monorail: The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to the monorail. Recommend: No I don't recommend this hotel. You can probably get a better hotel with better service and prices.

My experience I think was ruined because of checkin and checkout. My check in took twenty minutes to check in even though pretty much we were the only one checking in at that time. I had reserved a two queen bed room and of course they only had a single queen room. I ended up having to sleep on very uncomfortable roll out bed. The room was clean. The restaurants were expensive and pretty much tasteless. Definitely not what I expected for the price. At checkout time I needed to checkout early so I called down to desk and they said everything was ok and just leave the keys. Well not being a trusting person I called again and found out I wasn't checked out. The person on the phone was rude and really not very helpful.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of stuff to do and the buffet is amazing. The room was good however some stuff was left by the cleaning crew from the previous guest so it made it feel as though the room was not throughly cleaned. After having them come in and clean again it was great the bed is comfy and had a great view. Great place to lay your head for the well morning

Charged our card twice before even showing up. Had us booked to stay 7 nights instead of 5. Bellman cursed at us after bringing up our bags because I said I would follow her down to break a $100, to give her a tip. She told me to f%@+?!g forget it. Every time you go down to the lobby, you are bombarded by employees that want to sell you ownership in the hotel. They ask you if you want free tickets to a show for sitting in a 2 hour presentation. This literally happens every time you are coming or going, throuhgh the lobby. We stayed here because our daughter had a gymnastics meet at the Westgate. In the future, we Would not stay there again.

The hotel was clean. The check in was not too pressure filled. I had to say no twice to be escorted to my room. The room was clean and mostly refreshed. The escort turned on lights for me. Had hot water for a shower. Bed was comfortable. Check out was painless. Nice facility. :)
