The Café

Best Italian restaurant I've ever been to in the US. Had a truffle pasta dish in Rome and their wild mushroom pasta dish is as close as it gets. Nice ambiance. Only wish it were easier to get seats!

The Café

The food is definitely above average but unfortunately one of the owners (not Joe) is an absolute BIT@H!! The nastiest, rudest person I have ever dealt with. I can’t believe they stay in business with her answering the phone dealing with customers. I won’t be giving them my business again. She can take her home made mozzarella and disrespectful attitude and shove it!

The Café

Stopped here after a comedy show at the Tropicana. It was a Saturday night about 8:30 with no reservation but I've heard from friends about this place and wanted to give it a try. We waited approx 20-25 minutes. Loved the ambience, the aroma of the food was amazing. It seems you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. It was very hard trying to decide what to order for dinner. I'll definitely be back!

Very good. The food was the best. My husband said it was the best veal parm he ever had. And we've been to a lot of places. If you get a reservation definitely go. Its worth every penny. The veal saltimbucca was very nice as well.

OMG, this place is well worth the wait trying to get in. The food was perfect like our waitress Virginia. Loved her as much as the food! The table side dining is a must!

The Café

Hands down, one of the best meals ever. Had the Veal Ossobucco which was tender and had great flavor. The fresh Mozzerella that make at your table topped with fresh Ricotta cheese, Heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil is amazing. Also for the appetizer I had the zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta cheese. Wine selections are very good. The owner, Joe takes pride in his menu. Wait staff was very attentive. Well worth the wait to get into this restaurant.

We had our Valentine's Day dinner here this year. The food was amazing. The customer service was attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing. We bought a pair of 2825 wine glasses. I would definitely go again.

The Café

Early this week I called to see if I could make a reservation for any time this Saturday night for 2 people. I was not optimistic about getting a table here, as I've heard that it's very difficult unless you're planning far in advance, but I wanted to call and try anyway in case they maybe had something for an early dinner right at the time they open. I did not receive a call back to the voicemail I left (and yes, they specify that they will not return your message if there is no availability) but after feeling uncertain about that policy in general, I decided to try and call again and see if I could talk to a staff person. When I tried again and a staff person picked up, she answered the phone, unenthusiastic, and I greeted her pleasantly. I introduced myself and mentioned that I had recently left a voicemail and she said "okay, why don't you just go ahead tell me what you want". I said "oh, okay sure! I was calling to see if you had anything available at all on this Saturday night for two people" she said "no we're booked." I said "okay, got it! Now do you take walk-ins-" she barely let me finish my question and said "no, we don't take walk-ins, we're a 13 table restaurant so when we're booked we're booked". Her tone was curt and, while this may not have been the worst customer service experience I've ever had, it was definitely up there. If that's how they speak to people over the phone, I'm not sure I will ever want to find out how the service is in the actual restaurant.
