For 86$ I feel like I’m in a 5 star hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, rooms are huge, room service was fast and the breakfast was delicious. The pool is insanely beautiful. Entire hotel is gorgeous. Next time i come to San José this is my spot.

A solid hotel and a good deal - but fails to impress as you somehow would expect more from 5* (at least claimed) Radisson. The hotel feels like 70-80s across the board. Its clean and well maintained, but a bit too dated. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy, you can even adjust the stiffness of the mattress. There is however some smell in the room, like from a humidity, etc. Its close to downtown, but you still be better taking a taxi as the area is not really nice to walk. More of a functional sleep over place than a relaxing retreat.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Outside of being very dated, the exposed concrete made you feel more like you were in a prison than a hotel. The rooms clearly showed lack of attention with shower curtain rods falling off the wall, toilet paper rolls falling off, refrigerators that werent cold but slightly cooler than room temperature. The food for breakfast was horrible and the same all four days I was on property. Forget making special request if you dont want an attitude in return. I made a request for bacon as there was no meat for breakfast. The gentleman got upset and went to the desk to complain that I was asking for bacon. In turn the lady got the same attitude and then finally gave in and told the man to tell the chef to make me some bacon. Once it was ready he brought it to the table and said, "Wow! Lucky you." The breakfast is not international, nutritional sound for heart or diabetic patients. Everything was a starch. The eggs were green with no ham. (Pun intended) There is only one staff member that stood out to me and she was at the front desk. As I approached (on the first day of my arrival) she called me by name and that stood out to me. This hotel needs a total overhaul. Its not up to the Radisson standards.

The rooms are big and well equipped. Unfortunately, we had to leave the first room because it smelled extremely bad air freshener. The windows can not be opened! Also in the corridors of the third floor was partly an unpleasant smell. The breakfast was satisfactory.

Nice building, great breakfast. But the place has some issues. Some of the rooms on the 1st (basement 117) have a very " musty " smell. Some of the rooms on the third floor (315 ) were right beside the highway so super loud. Bring ear plugs and nose plugs.

Noisey, both from inside and outside! Furthermore it is filthy and stinky! It is disfuctional and furniture is broken down. I have stayed in some bad hotels but this is among the worst ever! Some staff friendly and helpful, most however were indifferent, if not verging on rude. The stench in the first room was so overpowering i had to ask to be moved. When i requested the manager to accompany me to see for himself what i was talking about, he said he believed me! The second room was only somewhat better! It is indeed strange when the nicest smelling item in the room is the TP! Is it too much to ask for a clean and quiet place in a hotel?! Seeing so many comments with similar complaints i now understand why the manager ‘believes me’, but then i do not understand why the management doesn’t do anything about it. The crowning of the week was when they added some mini bar items to the bill which i had not consumed. Really sad to write such a negative review but ths ‘hotel’ simply does not meet Radisson standards and is not recommendable!

We stayed here only one night. The best thing about this hotel was their breakfast. Absolutely loved it. Our room smelt a little of dirt or must or the combination of the 2. We bought an air freshener which only helped a little. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Nothing specifically special about it but it worked for a night before a flight.

I think the hotel would be fine for a night before or after a vacation, but 3 nights while here on business is proving to be a bad fit. Trucks drive by just outside the hotel all night with engine braking, loud enough that I could easily hear it from the shower, never mind all night long while trying to stay asleep. If you're sedated, it's likely not a big deal. I wasn't unfortunately.

The hotel was very old and felt like a bunker. The elevator was always struggling, the electronic remote to both beds in our room were broken, the wifi was slow and often stoped working, and the breakfast was not good (lack of choices and the mango was nowhere close to being ripe). The only good thing I noticed was the gym which was great.

Good thing about this place is its location. Other than that the design is dated, our room was big, but dark. Breakfast not really fresh (especially fruit). The staff seemed nice, but unfortunately they turned out to be very unprofessional. We had (what we thought) confirmed with the reception that we will check out 2 nights earlier and were supposed to receive a full refund. At the check out we didn't get any money back or any confirmation that it will be returned. The manager wasn't available. I have wrote an email to the hotel but haven't received any answer. On top of that one day when we've returned to our room the door was visibly open. When reported to the desk staff they said that probably the cleaners left it open and that that "happens sometimes". We weren't happy with that answer.
