Concept of being a speakeasy thru the pawnshop is kind of cool, but the fun stops there. The dining area is so dark we all had to use our phone lights to order anything. Other tables were doing the same. They could at least offer pen lights with the menu. The darkness also prevented us from being able to see our food at all, so I have no idea what the presentation looked like. The dishes are meant to be shared, appetizer style. Flavors were okay, but wish I knew what I was eating as I couldn't see it. Interesting experience but wouldn't recommend this place, especially at the prices on the menu. If I pay $50 for a steak I want a whole meal...that I can see.

Absolutely yummy. Customer service was Great but, not 100% Nice but more attention to well paying party. The drinks were on point. Flavor not to much Alcohol. Food was delicious but Salmon little over done. Ambience is beautiful so is the decor. Pawn shop is cute an very well priced.

Enjoyed a palate pleasing and productive business dinner at Beauty & Essex. The atmosphere here is the busy Las Vegas strip restaurant but they do a good job with lighting and table settings to.make it personal and quaint. Entering the establishment is an experience. The food is served tapas style and the staff assist with making portions according to your party. Everything was prepared and serviced with excellence.. The Tia shrimp is worth getting multiple times and make sure you finish offer with doughnut desert.

Gluten free done well, really really well. I went there is a group of 6 and we basically told them to chose the most popular dishes and keep them coming.  Everything from bone marrow to oysters ensued and all were eaten happily.  I let our server know that I had to be gluten free and she expertly told me what I could and could not have and brought my own substitutions where needed.  For instance, to replace bread for spreading the bone marrow on, they made be herbs & rice fried in the shape of bread fingers and brought those out hot and fresh.  Impressive.  I've never had anyone make those as a substitute for bread before and they were perfect.  Bar set & nicely done. Be fair warned, this place is loud.  It's front room is a pawn shop and then you enter into a dark loud speak-easy... and yes, it's actually perfect.  Not quiet by a long shot, but loud and perfect and the food won't let you down.

If you feel like spending money on food, this is by far my favorite place that I have tried in Vegas so far! Small plate but big taste! Very unique selection of food. Gorgeous decor. Everything is brought out in a timely manner, staff is always very polite. Try the tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings....to die for!

What a gem of a dining experience. My wife and I made reservations the night before on OpenTable and even though we were 10 minutes late to the restaurant, the staff was understanding and very accommodating. The dining room we were in was beautifully decorated with picture frames to delineate walk ways. The raised fabric walls with embroidered peacocks made the room warm and inviting all the while bringing the noise level to a minimum. Our waiter was pleasant, informative and made us feel welcome. Our drinks were strong, but lovely. I like to “judge” a restaurant on the quality of their Old Fashioned’s and this was an 8/10. Very strong, and watery at the same time. Needed more bitters. Not a deal breaker, tho. The food was exquisite, highly suggest the pesto pasta with sunny side egg on top. So much food that we took it home. If you’re in to a posh romantic night out for dinner, I highly suggest the Beauty & Essex!

This restaurant was amazing. Both the food and the service were of the highest caliber. I went with one other person and we shared a bunch of smaller plates. The tomato soup with grilled cheese dumplings was transcendent. The biggest surprise of the evening was the green beans. We ordered them because we needed a veg to round out the protein heavy dinner. Hands down the best vegetable I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant you will not be dissappinted.

The food was good here the first time. They have a good filet and few other items which make the place enjoyable. Feels like too many preservatives and sauces to make the food taste good. If you like corporate sharable plates this place is for you.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants ever. Only reason for the 4 stars is the consistency. I've been to the one in Vegas and L.A. and absolutely LOVE the spaghettini but when I had it in Vegas this last time it was completely different almost grassy. We sent it back and asked for the garganelli instead. The pasta was on the verge of undercooked. Some pieces were fine, others were super chewy and almost crunchy. Love the Thai shrimp and the kale apple salad. Both of them are AMAZING! The ambiance is beautiful and the super creative. Definitely a must go!

Came here after a work conference with a group. You walk into a pawn shop prior to entering the restaurant. Wasn't quite sure if I'd like anything and boy was I wrong. You order several options and the food is like an experience, it was delish! The spoons picture showed one of their most popular dishes with tomato bisque and it was absolutely tasty. They also had so much more. Great food, great vibe and great drinks!
