American Restaurant

This place just ain't what it used to be... My wife and I were married outside on the lawn a few years ago; our reception was inside the restaurant. We finally got around to trying out the new owners menu and it's definitely NOT as good as it used to be. The good news is the service is great, staff are friendly and approachable, and they seen to be foodies too, so ask for recommendations! The bad news is that the new soux chef doesn't taste his product, so orders come out really salty, missing dressing, over-cooked and over-garnished. Obviously, we liked it better before, but you can't go back in time. So try it at your own risk and remember it's a cafe/diner, not cuisine...

American Restaurant

I went to Vic's last night for the first time. I had hesitated only because it's kind of far from where I live. The thing I'm most upset about my experience is that I waited so long to go! By FAR the best kept secret in Vegas! The food was divine and the service was the best I've had in a decade of living in Vegas! Our servers name was Dave, and he was nothing short of amazing. The manager Tony, was as entertaining as any TV show we would have watched had we stayed home. You must go!!

Shame on us for not going to Vic's sooner. I had an early dinner there tonight and the Pork Chop was outstanding, with the stuffing and sauce. We started out with the short-rib appetizer and Caesar salad. Then on to the Chop with side of wilted spinach. Everything was presented well and warm. Service was very good, too. Had the chocolate cake for dessert. It was just "OK". I'm sure I could have made a better choice, but I love chocolate.

American Restaurant

This restaurant is now called Cafe V, as of August 12th, 2014. I was here a few months ago, when it was called Vic's, but didn't get the chance to dine at that time, as I was here to attend the screening of Vic Vegas' debut on Bar Rescue. We dined this past Friday evening at about 630pm, with our party of 5. The dining atmosphere is very family friendly and accommodating. The wait staff was very attentive and quick with our requests. The food however... was the best that I've experienced. For appetizers, we ordered fried green beans, chicken tenders,, and the shrimp cocktail. There is always one in our bunch who may not like one of the items, but all of us, loved all of them. For our entrees, we ordered the V Burger, and the Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich. The V Burger is their signature burger. I'm not really a big fan of Blue Cheese on my burger, but that with the caramelized onions, made me a big fan. The Roast Beef sandwich was exceptional too. The mashed potatoes, were placed under the bed of roast beef. So every bite had potatoes in it. Overall, the food coming out of that kitchen, doesn't justify this place being called just a Cafe. Definitely a hidden gem, off the strip, in the Anthem community. We will be back!

American Restaurant

My husband and I went here for the first time while visiting Vegas and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the Pan Seared Scallops and he had the Caramel Apple Pork Chops, both were thoroughly delicious. Also loved the Caesar salad, the dressing was divine. Our waiter David was friendly and the service was superb. The view from the restaurant was astounding and it made for a perfect romantic evening. We will definitely be going there again.

After calling first, then driving 40 minutes across town in the late afternoon we were turned away by staff. 1st off, they only had ONE working bowling lane. out of the 20 there, only 1 worked. And upon our arrival another couple was using it. So as the miserable clerk explained to me, our choice was to wait 3 hours for them to finish all 6 games, or hit the road. They had terrible customer service. No wonder this place is struggling. they didnt offer the least bit of courtesy or attempt to make it right. And who sells a groupon for bowling when there is only 1 operable lane?
