My family and I came to the Silverado for their crab leg and prime rib buffet. The crab legs were over cooked, but large and plentiful. I wish the prime rib was a little more rare, but it was still quite good. Any of the other dishes were only just ok, but we really only cared about the prime rib and crab legs. That alone made it a 4 star experience.

The hotel is very lovely and situated right on the main street so it's totally convenient if you're looking to eat or shop. The rooms are quite old, as you'd expect, but they're clean and comfortable. The whole town is beautiful and full of history, I would totally recommend stopping by.

The Silverado has a great buffet that we go to. They have crab and prime rib with a lot of other delicious choices. The cakes and pies are wonderful and they have real whipped cream for them. The salad bar has many nice things to choose from. We highly recommend that you check it out!

The room was the worse we have ever stayed in, we canceled the rest of our stay and they didn't even care enough to ask why. the sewer pipes were outside our room and we heard running sewer all night, the air conditioner ran for 20 seconds every 2 minutes, the garbage was right outside our window also so we got to hear garbage trucks backing up and loading for long time. bed was so worn out you almost hit the floor when you sat on it, door knob didn't work only key opened door, closet door didn't shut, connecting door to other room had broken lock, toilet was so low to ground we had a hard time getting off it, no hot water, remote for tv didn't work, terrible experience, we also thought the buffet was way over priced for the food offered. the prime rib tasted like dry roast beef not prime, the vegetable soup was good though, it was the only bright spot on our trip. We moved to Cadillac Jacks down the street and are so happy we extended our trip.

Quick stop to drop $20 and have some fun. The dealers are good and the games are easy to navigate. The floor staff could be a little warmer on the personalities with this being a tourist town and all. We had fun, that is all that really matters at the end of the day.

We were celebrating a birthday. Requested a table for 9 at the buffet. They said it wasn't possible. We would have to sit at 2 tables. Not acceptable! So we left. Steak house across the street had no problem accommodating us.

Are you looking for a cool old historic building with lots of character and cheap prices? This is definitely it! Are you looking for a place that has clean rooms, comfortable beds and hot water? This is definitely not for you. 10/10 would stay here again because I've paid more for worse.
