Icon of the Seas Casino and Full Ship Tour

Icon of the Seas debuted in January 2024 as the largest cruise ship in the world. It cost over $2 billion to build. The ship has 20 decks with 2,805 staterooms and holds 2,350 crew members and 5,610 guests. It also includes 8 different neighborhoods and other record-breaking feats. The Cabins had a new modern design, spacious bathrooms and showers, and new tech added like a control panel to change the lighting in your room.

CASINO ROYALE
We’ll start with URComped’s favorite part, the CASINO located on Deck 4. This casino has the largest square footage of any casino at sea. URComped players can receive prime benefits on their first comped sailing with Royal, meaning free drinks in the casino and waived withdrawal fees. There are 5 different sections of the casino for table games, a high-limit room, a smoking and non-smoking side of the casino as well as a full-service bar. There is also a VIP services desk for easy access to the casino host team.

PROMENADE & THE PEARL
From the casino, you can take an escalator up to the Royal Promenade which is 3 decks high and spans 2 decks (5 and 6).  This is where the Pearl- a signature design staple of the Icon, is and it hosts nightly events and parties. On deck 5 you’ll find Sorrentos for late-night pizza, Spotlight Karaoke, Starbucks, 1400 Bar- a new craft cocktail bar that designed their drinks based on Royal Caribbean favorites. The new English pub, Point and Feather, shops including Port Merchants, as well as guest services, next cruise, and shore excursions. Going to deck 6 of the promenade, you’ll find Boleros, for Latin-inspired drinks, music,  and salsa dancing nights, Schooner Bar, for live music and trivia, and The NEW Pearl Cafe, for complimentary grab-and-go bites from morning to late night. The Specialty Italian Restaurant, Giovannis', is also located on deck 6 and looks out to the Pearl. The Attic hosts hilarious comedy shows- be sure to get a reservation. Icon has introduced Dueling Pianos venue which features incredible singers/pianists as well as fun crowd involvement.

CENTRAL PARK
Central Park is located mid-ship on Deck 8  just above the Royal Promenade. There are beautiful live plants landscaped into different designs as well as some great venues. The specialty Asian restaurant, Izumi in the Park is located here. As well as the specialty steakhouse, Chops Grill. There is also a luxury outlet, a new champagne bar called Bubbles, Lous Jazz and Blues, the new jazz club. Another new bar concept in the park is called Trellis Bar. And Park Cafe for amazing complimentary bites. Not too far from Central Park on deck 8 is the swanky Empire Supper Club which is an 8-course cocktail pairing experience, where they even pair the live music along with your course. Guests are encouraged to dress up in roaring twenties attire.

SURFSIDE
You can access Surfside, a family neighborhood, from Central Park or below on Deck 7. There is an arcade, Specialty Brunch Restaurant called Pier 7, a buffet with food exclusive to surfside called Surfside Eatery, Sugar Beach Candy Store, a Carousel and Playscape, Waters Edge Pool, and Splash Away Bay Park on the aft of the ship, and Lemon Post Bar, a new family-style bar which offers adult beverages as well as mocktail options for the kids.

PLAYMAKERS SPORTS BAR and ABSOLUTE ZERO
Just Below Surfside on Deck 6 is Playmakers Sports Bar! There are tons of TVs to watch whatever sport you want, there are also lots of games in here to play and great beer options. Playmakers is connected to the entrance of Absolute Zero, the ice rink. This venue hosts unbelievable ice skating shows as well as adult parties and large game shows like Crazy Quest.

CHILL ISLAND
Maybe Crazy Quest isn't your thing, and relaxing is. The new Chill Island neighborhood starts up on deck 17 with the new Cloud 17 edge pool, which is conveniently located by a Lime and Coconut Bar and has a hot tub that overlooks Royal Bay, the largest pool at sea. The chill island neighborhood also hosts Swim and Tonic on deck 16, which is a pool with a whirlpool and swim-up bar! They also will have a Caribbean band playing nearby on this deck as you walk over to Thrill Island Neighborhood.

THRILL ISLAND
Crowns Edge, the new obstacle ropes course, and the rock wall are the first thrills to greet you. Then you’ll see Desserted Milkshake Bar adjacent to Base Camp, a new eatery and bar located next to the Lost Dunes mini golf course. Flowrider, the surf simulator, as well as Access to all 6 of Category 6 Water Park’s slides are here too. I highly recommend them all: a free fall drop slide, two mat slides, two family-style raft rides, and one open-air drop slide.

HIDEAWAY BEACH
As you head to the aft from Thrill Island you’ll enter the new adults-only area - Hideaway Beach. There are two large hot tubs, plenty of loungers, a DJ, and Hideaway Bar all surrounding the new Overhang Infinity Pool. Overall this area is so scenic and Royal did an amazing job designing it.

MORE POOLS
Continuing with more pools. There is also the Cove Pool on deck 15, as well as the massive Royal Bay Pool, with in-water loungers. There are whirlpools conveniently located around this deck. El Loco Fresh Restaurant and Cantina, is also here, where you can find complimentary Mexican snacks or grab a specialty margarita.

AQUADOME
Another spot for complimentary bites is the Aquadome Market on Deck 15. You can get crepes, Asian food, Mediterranean food, salads, special mac and cheese, and more here! It's also connected to the Aquadome, where incredible shows incorporate dancers, synchronized swimmers, Olympic divers, slackliners, music, aerialists, and more! The Specialty Restaurant Hooked is also located within the aquadome and offers amazing seafood options. You can also access the Overlook in the Aqua dome which is at the very front of the ship. There are cool futuristic pods to lounge in. There is a beautiful bar with relaxed seating and a modern design. This was a nap zone, and to wake up, you can walk to the other side of the Aquadome to Rye and Bean, which is a coffee and tea bar.

VITALITY SPA & FITNESS CENTER
Just below the Aquadome is the entrance to Vitality Spa. There is a cafe here where you can get fresh smoothies and healthy bites. Speaking of health, there is a massive fitness center onboard that will have everything you need for a great workout. Right outside of the fitness center on deck 5 is the outdoor track which takes 2 and a quarter laps to hit a mile. It also connects to the Royal Promenade.

MUSIC HALL
The music hall hosts several late-night parties including the silent disco as well as great tribute band performances! If you came for the entertainment, then you're about to be blown away.

ROYAL THEATER
The Royal Theater on decks 4 and 5  hosts amazing shows like the NEW Broadway production Wizard of Oz. The production, costumes, and talent are like you’ve never seen on a cruise ship before. They even have fake snow! Get a reservation for this one as well as their other talented acts onboard.

OVERALL this new ship is a TEN and we look forward to getting you booked so you can experience it.

Icon of the Seas Casino Offers- Update

We are so excited about Icon of the Seas and this new game-changing class. The sail dates recently dropped with cruises starting in January of 2024. Because the sailings are farther out than the casino comping window, there are no casino offers yet. So we have two options:

Option 1: Wait and See

Players can either wait until we are in that comping window to see casino offers, which is typically 12 months (Anticipate seeing casino offers around January of 2023). The risk of waiting is that there is a chance that those first sailings will be sold out or there will be limited availability.

Option 2: Book under Casino Rate, then try for a comp

The other option is to book your sailing now through URComped at a casino rate, which is a small discount from the retail cost of the sailing. Then, as the casino offers are released as we get closer to your sail date, we can "rebook" you with the offer you qualify for. Keep in mind, to apply a casino offer your reservation will have to be rebooked at whatever the rate is at the time of booking. If the retail price of the cruise increases when we are applying a casino offer to your booking, then the net price may end up being higher, even with the casino discount. For example, if URComped books you today at a $2000 rate, then the rate jumps to $4000 by the time you receive a $1000 off discount casino offer your cruise would be "rebooked" at the $4000 rate to apply the $1000 discount, which results in a $3000 net rate.
