First, let me say that I love Publix and have shopped there in various cities for over 20 years. It is consistently clean and the employees are always extremely nice and helpful. That said, I grew increasingly dissatisfied with this particular Publix for a few reasons:
1) The pharmacy is way too small for the volume that they do there. The pharmacists and techs are very skilled and helpful but every time I go it is an ordeal to get through the long line no matter what time of day - morning, afternoon, evening and it's pretty much swamped.
2) The store itself is smaller than the one on Clemson Blvd, so their selection isn't as good. They rearranged the frozen foods within the last few months and lots of things have disappeared.
3) Speaking of selection, I inquired about ordering a product that was the non-diet version of a product they carried. I had to show the person who was in charge of ordering where the products were because she had never heard of them and didn't know what a Kosher section was. Then they called and said that they couldn't get the product (although I've seen it in Greenville in stores).
I'm sticking with the chain but just switching to the other store.
