I visit Miami Beach few times a year and I spent the entire weekend at Nautilus. The hotel experience was excellent. The hotel was clean and the customer service at the front desk, concierge, pool and the beach and was super excellent! I only give it a 2 star review because of the restaurant where I had breakfast and lunch during my 2 day stay… I did not walk out of the restaurant only out of convenience … I am a foodie therefore, I appreciated the freshness and quality of the food. However, the service was beyond acceptable and almost insulting. The dishes and utensils were not clean. During breakfast I had to ask for coffee 3 times and then wait almost 5 minutes for the cream… We waited over 40 minutes for lunch with the restaurant being empty! The lunch prices are on the pricey side considering that they only offer small plate lunch menu. With higher restaurant prices I expect excellent service. Because of the poor restaurant service I will not be visiting this hotel again… Not sure who owns this restaurant but I only hope they recognize the errors soon and invest some money into hiring professional and well trained restaurant staff.
