We stayed here a couple of times with a small service dog in the last 2-3 yrs. in a suite on the river, don't recall how much but price was very reasonable and were really pleased. Dec. 28, 2015 was our 15th. Wed. Anv. (we were married in laughlin) so we booked a couple months in advance, non smoking suite w/fridge from the 27th-30th and explained our situation, they said to remind them @ chk. in and they would take care of us We arrived early afternoon on the 27th. and as per there request I reminded them of our situation. We were put in a small smoking room they said because we had a dog! I called them and after much to do they moved us to a non smoking room (mini suite) no fridge with an older bed with spring type top mattress, flat pillows, no hair dryer, mould in the bathroom,water would not shut off. Because we were exhausted we managed to get a few hours sleep. The only + was the food it was excellent. Just before we checked the next day out we noticed there was a temp. authorization on our C-card for $375 (had we stayed for the full reservation the total bill would've only been about $265) The lady assured me we would only be charged the 1 night and she would release the $375 auth. immediately. It is now the 30th and they charged us for the 1 night but the 375 has yet to be released! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! We finished our stay at the AVI which will be our go to place in Laughlin from now on, a little out of the way but service and facilitys are superb all around.
