Located in the small rural town of Minden, NV, CVI is easy to access from highway 395. Lots of parking, great steakhouse, quaint hotel, and friendly staff. Their coffee shop has decent food, however the wait staff could use a refresher on guest service especially in the later hours. The CVI is only about 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe and Carson city, and about an hour from Reno. The views from here are truly amazing. The casino is fun, the table games staff has some of the best people there, and the sports book shows all the sports games. In the summer months they have outdoor concerts and throughout the year there are fun promotions for players. It's a great place to go.
