The hotel itself is nice enough and the room was decent and clean. However the entire experience was poor. Check in took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The long was very long and they only had 4 or 5 staff checking people in. After an hour or so a cocktail waitress came by offering people at the back of the line champagne and water, but we were near the front by that time and were not offered either. I had to search for staff on the floor to ask where the ice machine was.
Upon check out you are charged a $24 resort fee which they tell you is for parking, internet, pool use (the pool was out of service in August), a newspaper. When I told the manager that I had to search for ice she said, kind of snotty, that there was ice on my floor. I told her that I walked all over my floor and was sent down 2 floors when I finally found help. She didn't seem to believe me. And when we were finished paying the extra $24 she said very sarcastically "Have a nice day!" I don't think I will stay there again. I do have to say the front desk employee that checked us in and out was pleasant though.
