They're trying, but this place has seen its best days pass by. The building, rooms, common areas just look tired. No coffee maker or fridge in the room. Had to call to get a hairdryer brought to the room. The main pool was closed while we were here for no apparent reason. This caused the other pools to be overcrowded. Probably an isolated incident, but still consistent with our overall feeling about the place - tired and lacks proper care from the staff. If you find a super cheap rate and plan to spend most of your time outside of the casino, give it a try, but don't go out of your way to stay here. NOT on the strip; just a few blocks off, tho. Good parking garage. Stay in the paradise tower instead of the casino tower, for sure.
