Had the worse experience of my life here!! My wife and I got tickets to see Alice Cooper. We thought it would be fun to stay the night and have a mini get-away. We checked in early around 2pm and went up to our room to check it out. My wife left her sunglasses and the other key in the room while we went to the car to get our stuff. When we got back to the room her $400 sunglasses were gone and so was the room key. We went down to the front desk and told them what happened. The girl said they would look into it and call us within in an hour. So we get something to eat and over an hour later, no call. We go back down to the front desk to see what’s going on. The girl tells us the key used to get into the room was from facilities. My wife asks if the have a Lost and Found, but they tell us that security has to check the video tapes and that could take another hour. At this point my wife and I are getting very upset because we have been at the casino for two hours and all we have done is try to find sunglasses that were taken from our room. So, we go down to the pool, which could have been fun if we weren’t bummed out about the situation. Over an hour goes by and no phone call back. So we go back down to the front desk AGAIN! The lady tells us security is now handling the issue, so I ask to talk to security but the lady doesn’t want to get them! At this point we are so mad and it’s ruining our night. The other front desk girl calls security and they come down. We update the security guard on the situation and he tells us that it takes time. I explain to him that theft or items missing from guests' rooms should be their number one priority. He tells us that he has been to places and stuff has gone missing from his room and that we are probably just out of luck! WOW! I mean, justifying the situation… wow. We go to our car to move it to a different spot and as we are walking in, another security guard has my wife's sunglasses. Where were they? IN THE LOST AND FOUND! Just like my wife said almost three hours earlier. Ready to move on with our night, we go up to our room to get ready for the show. It’s Halloween weekend, so we dress up in costumes. We were the only people in the whole casino dressed up…what a lame scene! We get into the show and we are ready to have a good time. Alice comes out and we are ready to rock! Everything is fine except the girl in front of us is videotaping with her phone and blocking our view. I go up to her and tell her to put the phone down and that we can’t see the show. The girl freaks out and stops for a minute then does it again. While she’s filming, the guy next to her is turned around watching us to make sure we don’t interrupt their bootlegging operation. So again I go up and tell her to stop, she freaks out and gets security. This psycho tells security that I hit her! At this point security tells me that she’s allowed to video tape and they want to talk to me outside. In other words, they want to get me outside the venue and not let me back in. Before things get worse (if that’s possible) we go outside to talk to security, where they basically want to stand there and scold me like a child. At this point I had enough and walk away to go up to our room (with 3 security guards following me). It’s at this point that my wife and I know we have to get the heck out of this insane asylum. We packed up our stuff and wait a while to calm down from the onslaught of mistreatment. Once we calmed down, we got out of there as quick as possible and never looked back! We now just call our experience at Harrahs Southern California “THE NIGHTMARE”!
