We got room 629 in the Forum tower, we didn't realize it at first since we dropped are luggage and left. But when we got back we noticed the room had a strong vibrating feeling to it almost like we were feeling the AC for the building. When we called the front desk to ask for another room we were told they don't have a comparable room as they are fully booked for a convention. After attempting to rest in bed for 10 mins my pregnant wife had enough and sent me to figure it out.
I went down to the front desk and was again told they were full but she could upgrade me to a Jr Suite at a discount. Normally it would be $150 instead she would charge me $100. My assumption to this point is that it's $100 minus what I paid already. We get to the Suite in another tower and its very nice. (The only reason its even getting a second star).
At checkout the next day they try to charge me the full $100. I protest explaining what happened, the Manager tells me " I see here we were not fully booked and did have room. So you took an up-sell and signed on a paper for $100. I explained that I was told differently the night before and that if he were married he would understand. (Never come back in failure to a pregnant lady.) He took off another $25 saying it was the best he could do.
This was my first time staying there and my wife was very excited. But after this experience I would think twice.
