At last! Tipping is a thing of the past! The MANDATORY resort fee is totally awesome, convenient & worthwhile; because we must pay an extra $32 a day we don't have to worry about tipping anymore. It's a relief to only pay the advertised price on the menu (plus tax but tax goes to the city and state) without a hidden charge for the chair and ambience. Since I paid the resort fee, I didn't have to tip waitresses or bartenders or the bell-hop or for luggage storage. Luckily the hotel uses the resort fee to pay for those and other services; otherwise why isn't the resort fee simply rolled into the daily rate to show the real price of the stay?
