MGM National Harbor

Expecting Vegas, met with disappointment. The resort has been open for less than 24 hours and it is already dirty. No one working there seems knowledgeable about the casino or where anything is. Waited at a bar for 15 minutes, multiple people next to us were served but we were told to go elsewhere because they were closing that station. All the tables have super high limits (which I understand, the casino wants to make money) but who has $50-100 for blackjack? The casino feels cramped with too many slot machines. It might feel better when there are less people. The whole place feels small. There are some pretty spots (the lobby, an optical illusion area in the shopping gallery, the water fountain). And the ceiling of the casino sparkles something lovely. Overall, I'll wait for the hype to die down, for the staff to get their act together and try coming again in a few months. But until then, Vegas.
