I used to go here when it was just the raceway, when old men would sit around smoking cheap cigars, yelling at the ponies as they stunk the place up of their gin and sour defeat. Nice change of pace now that the casino is here and it actually brings in people besides the above mentioned and curious teenagers who have nothing better to do than exercise the fact they can now legally bet. The New York law denies this casino from having any dealers, but there are roulette and some other games operated by computers/machines. If you fancy yourself a drink, I suggest going to the Irish wood bar inside opposed to the open square bar adjacent to the dance floor/stage. First time visitors sometimes get nice incentives to come back via voucher booklets and sometimes even a 10 dollar voucher for betting. Fun place to go for some slot games if that's your thing and you don't need to use much brain power or needs to mask your facial expressions/tells to bet since there are no card games. If casinos are your thing and you don't wanna schlep it down to the b-hole part of south Jersey or hop a plane over to Vegas, this is your spot. Parking can be a bit of a hassle now on the weekends, but during the week nights it isn't THAT bad.
