Stayed 5 days and 4 nights starting March 31st. The first impression started a bit shaky when the receptionist tried to put us in a room with two double beds. Not the accommodations of choice for a romantic vacation. After a bit of back and forth I did get my room with a king bed. The bed however was VERY hard and uncomfortable. This always bothers me when a hotel cheaps out on the bed since what you get a room for is to sleep. Anyway everything else about the hotel is top notch. They keep it meticulously clean. The food in the beachfront restaurant is delicious as are the sunsets. The Costa Rican people are very friendly. If you're looking to get a good value for your dollar then the nice town of Tamarindo is not the place. Lots of good places to eat, pleasant to stroll the streets, but the prices are the same as back in the USA. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation. The ATV adventure was probably what I enjoyed the most but even the walks on the beach were great. I highly recommend going if it's on your list.
