I will start out with the fact that I am not much in horse racing. So my knowledge of the sport is limited. But I did enjoy visiting this nice venue. The track is beautiful. The viewing areas are spacious and in several varieties (i.e. indoors, outdoors, table seating, benches, standing areas, etc.) This day happened to be the day of the Kentucky Derby so the place was packed. But the parking lot is huge and the building is as well, so the crowds were not a big deal. The paddock area is a great place to check out the horses up close before each race. There are several restaurants and grills scattered about to fill your belly. And the adjoining casino is there if you prefer a different form of gambling. The races are free to watch. So drop by and pick your favorite for each race. Betting is up to you and your wallet.
