I whisked my BF off to a weekend away from home and picked Morongo Casino. We've driven past before but never been inside. The room rate was fair, as the room was clean and pretty, the bed comfortable. I do wish that the small refrigerator wasn't completely full of the items they have for sale, it would have been nice to fit our sodas in. The casino had great games, new and familiar, the staff was very nice, both front desk and around the casino. We visited the spa and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the sauna, steam room, and locker room area. The attendants were very friendly and helpful. The lazy river looked great, but it was too windy to get in. The pool bar service was great, I asked for a drink recommendation and the bartender fixed me a delicious Hornitos Margarita on the rocks. We got in the Buffet for brunch, the food was good and I enjoyed the bottomless mimosas, but the service was a bit slow and our server didn't smile at all. The only thing that would have made the trip better was if we had won in the casino.
