I am a frequent business and leisure traveller and I am mostly writing reviews to complaint about services. This experience was so good I thought I would make an exception! The hotel staff (special shout out to Alvaro Camara!) who were very receptive to our requests and they went above an beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel staff were friendly, some even addressed us by name, they gave excellent tour and food recomendations. The room we got upgraded to (being a Platinum member) was amazing. Room service was meticulous. We did not eat much inside the hotel and so we could not comment on it. There were two small malls right across the street with lots of food options. My best food during my stay were 'conch fritters'... the beach and sand were really clean... the huts and the beach chairs were very well managed... the small complaint was the charge card and the ink it was used to write on... with high heat and humidity and ink dissapeared and dissolved... which made it difficult to carry around.... but if the only problem you can come up is "ink" then you probably had the best freaking vacation of youir life!
