I reserved my room by phone from over 100 miles away, by giving my credit card and phone number to hold the room. I received a confirmation email. When I arrived to check in, hours later, I was notified that someone else booked the room online. So my reservation was canceled. This hotel had my phone number and email and never bothered to let me know of the cancellation until I arrived. Luckily I found another room, one left at another hotel. But since the Shilo was still holding my funds on my credit card, I wasn't able to rent the other room. My entire birthday weekend was ruined. This company should be held accountable for their poor logistics, terrible customer service, and pure lack of respect for their guests.
