NO TOILET AND NO PHONE in our room!!! I stayed at the Hamaca in the middle of August. I invited two friends and I was so embarrassed to have them there. The room we got was extremely basic. Not even a chair to sit on. No closets. Broken drawers. And the worst part: the TOILET was broken and the maintenance man came every day to "fix it". We had to find public bathrooms to use. Also, no phone in the room. We spent many of our vacation hours walking to the guest desk to report the broken toilet (about three city blocks' distance). Our complaints fell on deaf ears. We got a cheap bottle of rum to compensate us for denying us of a basic human necessity. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. HORRIBLE RESORT. SHAME ON THEM!!!
