My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a couple days this week for our anniversary. Check in started the ongoing issues as the reservation was put into the computer correctly. We get up to our room and not only is it dirty but it appears the. Bedding had not been changed from the previous guests. My wife found someone from housekeeping and got new bedding and changed the sheets and such herself to save time and in an effort to not get anyone in trouble.
The morning we are checking out we call front desk at 5:30am for a bell clerk and cart to carry our luggage to our car, we are politely told they would send one up right away. At 6:00am I call downstairs again and am told they will have one right up. I asked if I could come get a cart myself and I'm told only the bell staff can use them and someone would be right up to get our luggage. At 6:30am an hour and a half I call downstairs frustrated to see what was going on. I explain I can carry my own luggage down. The polite gentleman who answered stated there would be no need someone was on their way up at that moment. At 7:00am my wife proceeded to push our luggage downstairs stacked in the desk chair from the room. When she arrived at the front desk they had the nerve to tell my wife she could not use the chair to move luggage and that she was going go have to take the chair back up to our room. When asked about the bell staff or cart they said we would just have to wait.
The moral of thid whole post is that if you have a very special event or moment in your life, we do not recommend anyone to celebrate it at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, as the majority of the staff don't care about anyone especially if it is for a special event.
We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the only staff who even acted like we mattered, Bonnie (guest service manager), her professionalism at a time when we were very very upset was commendable. Thank you Bonnie for your patience with us, sorry you didnt get to see our better side.
