The rooms are decorated in southwestern style and we were able to get a room with a gas fireplace along with a nice balcony. The casino is pretty large. We decided to visit during Christmas and was sorely disappointed with the decor. All they put up was a tree in the lobby and a garland for the front entrance and desk. It did not feel like Christmas at all. The air conditioner makes loud noise creating a nuisance for us. The restaurants in the hotel close at 9:00pm which is fairly early and the Starbucks closes at like 5:00. I do not get why they close when there are guests to serve. The elevators are located in the middle so if your room is located on the end like ours you have a long walk to and from, which was annoying as well. I would not particularly recommend this hotel when staying in Santa Fe unless you had to especially during the holidays.
