We came to town suddenly, needing to stay for 8 days. My husband and I were traveling with our two kids so we really wanted a nice place with a pool for the kids to enjoy. The room was nice and clean, we did have a microwave, fridge, and wifi internet. There was a pool table in the front office. The staff was friendly. The only problem I had..was for some reason..the microwave blew a fuse or something when we first turned it on..and the plug in that we had it plugged into didn't work after that. The maintenance man did come and replace the fuse...but the plug in still did not work... the cloest plug in to it didn't work either now..so we had to plug our phones in the bathroom plug it..this was a bit frustrating. There was only one behind the beds..which were at capacity with the lamp and clock. So this was my biggest problem..needing plug ins *L* The neighborhood was great.. nice friendly people.. we had a great view of the mountains and the famous "H" on the mountain side. I really enjoyed my stay..the kids loved the pool and the pool table. I have nothing bad to say..the price for the room was awesome for our extended stay. If and when we ever go back to Hawthrone...the El Cap will be our motel. It beat all the others in price and the rooms were clean and the AC worked great..cause it's hot hot hot there *LOL*
