I stayed here for 3 nights while on business/short city break. I was with my brother who is 25 and I am 20. We have heard alot about Hilton's and decided to stay here as it was within our price range.
We arrived and from the moment we checked in the staff there looked at us like we didn't belong. When checking in we were told that that the room we had booked wasnt available and we had been given a family room. There was a conference going on so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and moved to our room. The housekeeping politely and quickly made our sofa bed. The housekeeping is the only saving grace of this hotel.
Upon arrival in our room we found that the TV didn't work, we reported it to the reception and they said we will send up a technician in the morning. This technician never arrived throughout the period of our stay.
Every time we left or entered the hotel staff would give us looks of DISGUST like we shouldn't be there. A single smile would of made this better.
The housekeeping is what gives this review 2 stars, the room was always kept spotless, replacing any used items and making sure fresh towels and bedding was in place. They respected the "do not disturb signs" and did a good job.
They leave an "express checkout" letter at the door on your last night, however it is very poorly written. There was no instructions on what to do with the room keys.
Overall I am disappointed with the hotel and the front of house staff.
